Brazil and Argentina are the two teams most likely to reach the final from competitive brackets, while France and England round out the top four semi-final selections. Fellow tournament favorites Spain and Germany were drawn in lower brackets than the United States to advance to the quarterfinals.

Brazil and Argentina are set to make the finals with more than 25% of the brackets coming in at 28.2 and 27.7 percent respectively – far higher than the United States (10.7%) and France (7.1%).

  • Portugal (Group H): 67.0%

Argentina and Brazil are not only favorites to reach the finals in our brackets but also relatively weak teams. So it makes sense that the vast majority of bracket entries would see those two teams advance from their respective groups and win them outright.

The Netherlands also benefit from an underrated group that includes host nation Qatar. Although not one of the favorites to reach the final or semi-finals, the Dutch are the next most common choice with their team winning at 78.3%. England and France round out the top five.

Don’t worry about the US – the USMNT are the most common choice to finish as runners-up in Group B (58.4%) and advance to the knockout stages.

Brazil leads the team with the most picks to reach the round of 16, and the bracket percentage in their favor is overwhelming.

Defending champions France are surprisingly slightly less favored to reach the knockout stages than England. England have won the tournament only once in 1966.

The USMNT are also favorites to reach the Round of 16, with 45% of contestants showing some love for the young team.

To no one’s surprise, Brazil continue to lead the way, while defending champions France have also gained some popularity.
